Burnham Medical Centre was purpose-built in 1987 and is owned by the doctors. It has easy access for all disabled patients with ramps at the entrance and wide doors with push-button automatic opening. There are fully equipped toilets for the disabled. There is a low level door bell at the entrance to enable disabled patients to request assistance if required.

There is also a low level counter at the Reception Desk.

Burnham Medical Centre is one of the surgeries that forms part of the Somerset Primary Care Trust. The SPCT covers mainly the Wells, Bridgwater, Burnham , Taunton and Chard areas.
