Notice for patients requesting repeat prescriptions

Please note that we have received a report that there may be a problem with our repeat medication encryption service at present. Patients should be aware that whilst the problem is under investigation, we cannot be confident that your repeat prescription request information is secure. This matter is being dealt with as a matter of urgency.

EXTENDED HOURS SURGERIES

Burnham Medical Centre offers a limited number of GP apointments outside normal working hours. These appointments are not for emergencies or to see a nurse, they are dedicated to those patients who have difficulty attending during our normal opening hours.

Please be aware that it is possible to book these appointments more than two days in advance.

DR CHRIS WACHSMUTH - April 2010

Dr Chris Wachsmuth has now left the practice.

Patients who had been transferred to his list may make an appointment with the doctor of their choice.

BERROW SURGERY UPDATE

Builders Morgan Ashurst are currently planning to commence moving all their temporary site buildings, etc on to site from Monday 7^th June and to start work asap after that.

The entrance onto the site, once built, will be where the gate is currently into the field, immediately next to the last house on the road and before the telegraph pole holding the main power cable. However, Morgan Ashurst will be constructing a temporary access further down the road towards Brent Knoll. This is to keep the large construction traffic away from the house whilst work continues and also to keep vehicles away from the power lines as much as possible for health and safety reasons.
